John Cambra Ag/Mechanics Scholarship Fund

A little history about the man who loved cars....

John Cambra had a passion for all things mechanical.  Starting at a very early age on his parent's farm in central California, he tinkered with tractor and pickup motors, built "rabbit chasers" from spare parts, and spent countless hours piloting his hand-crafted hydroplane on the local river.

The flexibility of farming gave John the opportunity to explore mechanics at an in-depth level.  As he developed his skills into a commercial success, he looked for a way to support and encourage youngsters with the same passion for mechanics.   The result is the John Cambra Agriculture/Mechanics Scholarship Fund.

As many of you are aware, John lost his valiant fight against Multiple Systems Atrophy (MSA) on May 19, 2010.  Knowing John's long-time wish to support aspiring ag/mechanics students, the family will continue to hold the annual August car show to provide scholarship funding.  Below are a few of his "treasures" that are displayed at the annual car show.
